Fenty beauty is a beauty brand that was launched in September of 2017 by the the A-list star Rihanna. She came to fame in the music industry in 2005 and has realised many chart topping albums and signals since then but she has also had successful ventures into acting with roles in major cinematic movies as well as popular T.V series. The star hasn't stopped there with her fashion career being just as successful with the Puma x Fenty team up that has been ruining for many seasons now. Her touch on the brand really helped boosted the popularity as the brands collaboration has created items that have started waves of fashion trends like the flu slides and the platform creepers. What I am showing is that Rihanna has been a very successful and talented artist and business women in her career but in 2017 she showed the world once again that she can do another thing right creating the Fenty beauty line with a major impact. This business inst even a year old and has made massive headlines for it diversity and product range. The brand is a beauty company and not just a makeup brand. It has resonantly came out with body shimmer which shows how the products may become more diver beauty in the future.

Brands goal

This brand was made by Rihanna with the vision to create a brand that would work for all skin types as well as all skin colours. She herself is a unique skin tone and has said that even with the brands she has work with as well as A-list makeup artist they find it hard to match her skin tone. This was her motivation with the brand and is still her main focus with the future of the brand. This caused a very big impact in the beauty community as a lot of other people felt the same way as there is limited foundations that have a full variety of shades and undertones. With the brands backbone being this motive it has a very big impact to the consumers and is very positive.          







          







Marketing                   

When looking more into the Fenty brand I wanted to look into the marketing strategy that they have in place. This was because I believe that they have a grate marketing plan that Riahanna has put forward. One grate marketing point is that Riahanna is the face behind it which grabs lots of attention and curiosity of the publice and dedicated fans. This is used to grate advantage as they make sure that her fame and celebrity statue is used to draw more people in. On there website they have a section on Riahanna, which they show of her red carpet looks among other shoots and brake down what products she is wearing giving the readers straight links to where they can find the exact product she is wearing. They even talk about the exact colour she is wearing for items like foundation and highlighter which is changeable for different skin colours. In the screenshot underneath you can see what I am taking about.     



Another grate marketing point is including the new generation, which includes social media. There is a massive market in the beauty community which is shown on YouTube, Instagram, pinterest and other smaller platformed. When A company come out with new products they don`t have to include these popular beauty influencers but Rihanna did and this created bigger talking point about the products reaching a bigger platform. As you can see in the screenshot below I went onto YouTube and searched Fenty beauty and there was multiple videos showing of the products putting out content that reached millions of possible costumers. There is even a YouTube channel that Fenty have created that shows of new products, giving full talk through instructions on how to use the products best and what Rihanna created them for. There are even videos of makeup artists showing how to re-create the exact look they Rihanna has worn. The brand doing this is a grate way to encourage people to buy the brand and is the type of marketing that I believe gets the most people interested in products.

Overall, I think that Rihanna has used some grate ways of marketing and brand ethics in her beauty company. After looking into them I can see why this company has made grate progress in the opening six months since there launch.
